# Selling Price

In **GOD RO**, the global NPC selling price has been intentionally adjusted to help combat inflation brought about by systems like **unlimited Smart Battle farming**. This change is designed to maintain a healthy in-game economy and preserve long-term item value, ensuring that all players can continue to enjoy a stable and rewarding market environment.

**💱 Adjusted NPC Sell Ratio**

By default, in official Ragnarok Online servers, items sold to NPCs are purchased at **50% of their original shop price**. In GOD RO, we have applied an **additional 70% reduction** to this 50% base sell price.

* **Original Sell Ratio:** 50% of item’s base shop price
* **Further Reduction Applied:** 70% cut from 50%
* **Final Selling Price:**\
  \> 50% × 70% = **35%** of the original shop price

This means that items sold to NPCs in GOD RO will yield **35% of their standard shop value**.

**🧠 Why This Matters**

This pricing model helps:

* Prevent rapid **Zeny inflation**
* Maintain **item scarcity and trade value**
* Support a **long-term sustainable economy**

With these adjustments, GOD RO aims to provide a balanced and fair experience for all adventurers.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://ro0-4.gitbook.io/godro/custom-modifications/selling-price.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
