# Demon Temple
### Overview
The **Demon Temple** is a special battle event where players must face waves of increasingly powerful monsters. Brave adventurers who enter must survive elemental monsters, elite guardians, and finally confront the dark lord of the temple.
Only the strongest will emerge victorious—and be rewarded for their efforts.

### How to Join
* Visit the **Demon Temple Gatekeeper** in **Central Hall**.
* Only **non-Novice** classes are allowed entry.
* The event opens on specific days. Once the gate opens, you have a short time to prepare before the assault begins.
Upon entering, you will be fully healed and transported inside the temple.

### Event Phases
The event unfolds in **four escalating stages**:
#### Phase 1: Right Side Assault
* Fire-based enemies swarm the right wing.
* Clear them all to unlock the path forward.
#### Phase 2: Left Side Defense
* Ice-based enemies surge from the left.
* Eliminate them to advance to the temple courtyard.
#### Phase 3: Courtyard Onslaught
* Undead and demon forces gather in the central courtyard.
* After clearing, a powerful lieutenant appears. Defeat him to challenge the final boss.
#### Phase 4: Final Showdown
* The dark overlord of the Demon Temple emerges.
* Work with others or solo your way through the final confrontation.

### Ranking and Rewards
After the final boss is defeated, the top **five contributors** (based on total damage dealt) will be rewarded.
#### Contribution Rules:
* If you’re in a party, the **total damage of all members** is combined and counted as one entry.
* If you’re solo, your **individual damage** is ranked separately. While it may be harder, it’s still possible to **outperform a full party’s combined damage**.
* Only players who are **still inside the temple** at the time the final boss is defeated are eligible to receive rewards.
#### Top 5 Rewards:
Each of the top 5 ranks will receive a reward package via **mail**. These include:
* **Costume Weapon Shards** (amount varies by rank)

**Note:** If the top-ranked player is in a party, **all party members who are present in the temple during the final phase** (specifically in the courtyard) will receive **the same rewards** as the top-ranked player. This system is based on **group contribution**, unless an individual player is able to **outdamage the combined total** of an entire party—earning a higher rank as a solo contributor.

After the final boss is defeated, **treasure chests** will spawn throughout the temple.
* Up to **20 chests** appear in randomized positions around the final room.

* Each player can open a chest to receive various rewards.
* Items may include enhancement stones, rare scrolls, coins, potions, and other valuable loot.
Be quick—these chests don’t last forever!

### Restrictions & Rules
While inside the Demon Temple:
* You **cannot use teleportation** or warp skills.
* You **cannot rejoin** after 30 minutes.
* You cannot character select inside the temple.
* You cannot return to last save point when you die inside.
* Hiding or cloaking is **disabled**.
* Greed and memo/save features are **disabled**.
* No death penalty. You will be **automatically revived** shortly after falling.

### Tips
* Join with a well-balanced party for better chances.
* Coordinate elemental resistance for each wave.
* Bring enough potions, and be prepared for boss mechanics.
* Pay attention to announcements during the event—they guide your next objective.
* Stay inside the temple until the very end to be eligible for rewards.
